—–BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE—– Hash: SHA256

I’ve created a new GnuPG key that, over the next few months, I will be transitioning to use as my primary key for daily use. My old key has not been compromised and will continue to be valid for while during the transition. I’ve begun signing mail with the new key and would prefer that all future correspondence use the new key.

The new key is signed by the old key, and would appreciated new signatures against the new key. The details are as follows.

The old key I’m moving away from is here.

pub 2048R/0x7E546894A12BF8B0 2008-03-19 Key fingerprint = 4CB5 8CE9 B5D8 4A55 4C1F 54E7 7E54 6894 A12B F8B0

The new key that I’m moving to is here.

pub 4000R/0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B 2014-11-09 Key fingerprint = C360 0AAA C151 FA72 522A 4E1E FDC1 ED2A FDB0 507B

The key can be downloaded from the following URL.

https://zleslie.info/0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B.txt

To retrieve the key from a public key server:

gpg –keyserver keys.gnupg.net –recv-key 0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B

If you trust my old key, the signature can be checked with:

gpg –check-sigs 0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B

If this looks satisfactory, you can sign the key with the following:

gpg –sign-key 0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B

Then to get the public key back to me, you can send it to a key server with:

gpg –keyserver keys.gnupg.net –send-key 0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B

Or just send the signed version to me via email.

gpg –armor –export 0xFDC1ED2AFDB0507B

Feel free to contact me if there are any questions.

The integrity of this message can be verified with the following.

curl -s -o - https://zleslie.info/2014-11-29-key-transition.txt | gpg –verify

Happy encrypting,
